The Blasket table lamp is small in stature but don’t let that fool you! It is a proud little lamp, having spent most of its life on an uninhabited steep rocky island west of the Dingle Peninsula since the 1900’s. The wood was salvaged from an oak beam that once formed part of the crane (or jib) that helped deliver paraffin oil from the ship onto the jagged rocks of Tearaght Lighthouse, the lighthouse of the Blasket Islands.
